I got a little uneasy using TaxHawk because the account security felt kind of “too easy” to get through. Maybe everything is actually fine, but when it comes to taxes and all that personal info, I need to feel like my data is really protected. I ended up stopping because I just didn’t feel “comfortable” keeping my information on there.

I used taxhawk this year, the deduction and credit sections didn’t help me as much as I expected. It asked plenty of questions, but I still found myself Googling what actually counted and what didn’t?! Some of the credit explanations were short, so I wasn’t totally sure I was choosing the right options. The filing itself worked fine, but the guidance felt kind of weak if you don’t already know your way around taxes.

My state return failed twice, and the error message was about as helpful as a confused fortune cookie. I did get it submitted eventually, but the whole thing turned into a little stress parade I wasn’t trying to join.

I tried using TaxHawk this year, and at first it seemed totally fine. But then the tax numbers kept changing even after I entered the same info again, which made my confidence drop off a cliff. I started feeling like I was playing some terrifying guessing game with my refund. I ended up double-checking everything in another tax software, and it gave me a different number, so that didn’t exactly calm me down. Maybe I missed a step somewhere, but it really shouldn’t feel that confusing. It wasn’t a total disaster, but I definitely wouldn’t trust it blindly.

So yeah, my refund ended up matching to the dollar, which was the main thing I was nervous about. I filed quickly, waited to see if anything would change later, and... nope, it stayed the same. Really glad it was accurate.

The prior-year import was decent and definitely saved me some time, but it wasn’t perfect. A few numbers didn’t come over correctly, so I had to go back and double-check things myself. Not a huge deal, and I still got everything done, but it was kind of annoying...

I had a hard time with the data entry part because half the time I couldn’t tell what the boxes were even supposed to mean and I kept second guessing what I was putting in, it just wasn’t very clear.

I went in hoping for a simple experience, but it started to feel like every step had another add-on being offered. A couple of suggestions would’ve been fine, but after a while the upsells got distracting and made the whole thing feel less straightforward than I wanted.

Their audit support was easy to get in touch with, and the person I talked to explained the letter in plain English. I appreciated that they didn’t make me feel silly for asking really basic questions.
It wasn’t instant, and there was some back and forth to figure out what documents I needed, but they helped me get everything together. I’m definitely glad I had the support, because it would’ve been a much bigger headache on my own.

I really appreciated that the prices were clear from the start. There were no hidden charges or last-minute surprises, which made the whole experience feel simple and stress-free. it was such a relief to know exactly what I was paying for.

The federal filing part was totally fine and straightforward. What bothered me was the extra cost for the state filing. I get that taxes are never exactly fun, but when you’re already trying to be responsible and get everything done right, that added fee just makes the process feel a little more frustrating than it needs to be.

I didn’t think I’d be done that fast, but taxhawk was really easy to get through. I had my taxes filed in about 30 minutes, and I didn’t have no issues with slow pages or extra hassle.

Taxhawk was just fine for my W-2, and that part was easy to get through. My 1099 stuff took a bit more clicking around than I expected, and I just had to go back and double-check a few entries. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t exactly super smooth either. I got it done in the end.

I really wanted to like it but it just felt confusing to me. I kept getting stuck and had to figure out where things were so overall it was kind of frustrating.

TaxHawk did technically get my taxes filed, but man, getting around the site was more annoying than it needed to be. I kept clicking back and forth trying to figure out where I was in the process, and a few pages didn’t really make it obvious what I was supposed to do next. It wasn’t a disaster, just clunky and way slower than I expected. And when I ran into issues, the responses felt like those canned “sorry for the inconvenience” apologies, which just made it more irritating

I used the chat help it was just okay. I’m probably a little impatient when it comes to support chats, but some of the replies felt slower than I’d like.
